KOCHI:
KMA Annual Day and Awards Ceremony was held at International Convention Centre, Le Meridien, Cochin. It was attended by over 1000 delegates from all the leading business houses and professionals and management students.
As part of the objective of honoring individuals and institutions who have performed exceedingly well in their chosen fields, KMA has instituted various awards that are given away annually. The selection and award presentation of these awards were spread across the year for all these years.
However, this year Kerala Management Association, for the first time have decided to combine all the awards presentation into a single and exclusive ‘KMA Annual Awards – 2016’ event that also coincides with KMA’s Annual Day celebrations.
The Chief Guest of the event was Shiv Khera, noted International Trainer and Motivational Speaker who addressed on the topic “Winners don’t do different things, they do things differently”.
Following sixteen awards were given away at the function :
1. Management Leadership Award to Cmde. K. Subramaniam (Retd.), Former Chairman and Managing Director, Cochin Shipyard Ltd;.
2. IT Leadership Award to Mr. G.Vijayaraghavan, Founder CEO, Technopark and Member, Kerala State Planning Board
3. Manager of the Year Award to Mr.Satish Menon, Executive Director, BNP Paribas Financial Services Ltd.
4. Following three Young Managers’ Contest Awards
(a) The Winners: M/s Cognizant Technology Solutions India Pvt. Ltd
(b) 1 st Runners up: M/s Cochin Shipyard Ltd
(c) 2 nd Runners up: M/s Synthite Industries Ltd

Prasad K. Panicker, President, KMA; Mr. S. Rajmohan Nair, Chairman, KMA Awards Committee and Mr.C.S.Kartha, Honorary Secretary were the other dignitaries present.
