The inauguration ceremony of ‘children’s park cum recreational area at Tonca’, was held recently at the hands of Manohar Parrikar, Minister for Defence, Government of India, and in the distinguished presence of
Sidharth Kuncalienker, Vice Chairman of GSIDC & MLA of Panaji Constituency and Dr. Sheetal Dattaprasad Naik, Corporator, Panjim Municipal Council.
Under the dynamic leadership of its Chairman, Pramod Sawant, GSIDC is leading the way in building quality infrastructure for the State of Goa. Currently, GSIDC is in the process of building roads, bridges, hospitals, colleges, schools, libraries, stadiums, jetties, bus stands, ravindra bhavans, swimming pools, market complexes, holistic development of cities, open spaces etc.
Now, adding to this list of works, GSIDC has undertaken the work of the development of open space near Palmar Apartments, Tonca into a children’s park cum recreational area. Nitin Arolkar is the Consultant and Abhiyant Realty is the contractor on the project. The approximate cost of the wo
rk is around Rs.75 lakhs.
