KOCHI:
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) State president Anu Chacko said that the Union and State Government should take a positive approach towards the residents of the flat owners who are facing a demolition threat at Maradu.
She pointed out that the flat owners have not done anything wrong and they have found a shelter spending all their income of their lifetime. If they lose the shelter, their life’s will be shattered.
“It is not fair to punish the residents due to the illegal activities of those who have constructed it and officials who have given the sanction. The government should provide rehabilitation and compensation if the flats are demolished”, she added.
