Massive Cleaning Awareness Taken up by Railways

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Railways have taken up massive nationwide cleaning campaign in Kerala.
At Thiruvananthapuram central Prakash Butani inaugurated the campaign.  K S Jain, Addl DRM, DRM,ADRM,SrDCM TVCMarry Mathew, Chief Medical Superintendent, V C  Sudheesh, Sr Divisional commercial Manager, C C Joy, Sr Divisional Mechanical Engineer and  Promod Shenoy, Station Manager lead the campaign. A photo exhibition on up keeping of coaches  and useful tips on use of bio toilet were also arranged.
Feed back from passengers were also taken. NSS volunteers from Govt Arts College,  Thiruvananthapuram and Govt Polytechnic, Nedumangad joined hands with railway staff, porters and contract staff in taking up voluntary leaning and spreading of cleanliness message. Similar programmes were also arranged at Kollam junction, Aluva, Thrissur, Nagercoil, Kottayam, Kanyakumari, Changanassery, Alappuzha, Varkala, Kochuveli, Thiruvalla, Chengannur, Kayamkulam Guruvayoor, Ernakulam Jn and Ernakulam.
