India’s most desirable luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz India today announced the inauguration of a new 1S luxury dealership in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The new showroom of Silver Star in Visakhapatnam further strengthens Mercedes- Benz’s presence in the important state Andhra Pradesh, in line with the company’s strategy of expanding its luxury retail footprint, across key growth markets in India, moving closer to the customers. Mercedes-Benz India also showcased the all-new CLA BEV in Visakhapatnam, the brand’s most intelligent and advanced electric vehicle yet, ushering in a new era of luxury electric mobility.
The newly inaugurated showroom has been designed to deliver a modern luxury retail experience, enabling customers to explore Mercedes-Benz’s portfolio through personalised consultations and curated engagements. The showroom that was completed in a short span of 3 months, integrates immersive digital aids, tailored customer interaction zones and a premium ambience aligned with Mercedes-Benz’s global luxury retail standards.
Strategically located on the Chennai–Kolkata Highway, the luxury showroom enjoys enhanced visibility and seamless connectivity from all corners of Visakhapatnam. Located at the Visakhapatnam Marriott by Fairfield, the facility is positioned at a landmark destination, catering to existing and prospective luxury customers in the city.

The showroom spans approximately 2300 sq. ft. including a dedicated customer touchpoint area. The new dealership is supported by a highly trained team of 15 professionals and equipped to deliver focused customer engagement across the sales and delivery journey and includes one dedicated delivery bay.
As part of its ‘Go to Customer’ strategy, Mercedes‑Benz India has outlined a significant retail network expansion for 2026. The company plans to add 20+ world‑class MAR20X outlets across high‑potential emerging markets, while strengthening its presence in key metropolitan regions including Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi NCR.
Customer experience remains at the core of the Network Strategy. The company will continue upgrading existing facilities nationwide to the global MAR20X standard, while also exploring new retail formats and advanced technologies, including AI‑ and automation‑led solutions. This expansion will be supported by an investment of ₹200 crore by Mercedes‑Benz Franchise Partners over the next two years.
