Minister Anurag Thakur Inaugurated Table Tennis Academy in Rajagiri

Anurag Thakur, Central Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Information and Broadcasting ministry, inaugurated the new Stag Table Tennis Academy in Kakkanad Rajagiri College. Padmaja S Menon, Kerala Table Tennis Association President, presided over the function. On the occasion, the minister honored a group of Former and Current International Athlets with the Golden Boot award.

Minister asked the youth to think learn and see opportunities for the future and become agents of change. He strongly encouraged the youth to Strive for a sustainable lifestyle and be makers of a new India

The Stag Table Tennis Academy aims to speed up the activities of the Central Government to bring the sports talents of the country to the world level, says : Dr. Fr. Saju M.D. CMI, Secretary for Education, SH Province, CMI Congregation. Dr. Fr. Francis Sebastian CMI, Assistant Director, Rajagiri Business School expressed gratitude to Union Minister Anurag Thakur for his involvement in their humble work. The wealth of a nation is the well-educated and healthy youth, and Rajagiri will always be with the best contributions in central government activities that develop that wealth, says Dr. Fr. Francis Sebastian CMI.

Minister presented Golden Boot awards to Mercy Kuttan (Athletic), C.C Jacob (Football), Subash J Shenoy (Basketball), George Thomas (Badminton), Jayaram (Cricket), V. Srinivasan (Table Tennis), A Radika Suresh (Table Tennis). Minister also greeted the year-end Chintan Shibiram Pre-Bodhi conference of Rajagiri College of Social Science and Rajagiri Business School. Padmaja S. Menon, Kerala Table Tennis Association President, Dr. Binoy Joseph, RCSS Principal, and Saji Varghese, Principal, Rajagiri Christu Jayanti Public School, were also present at the occasion.
