Industries Minister P Rajeeve, leading Kerala’s high-profile delegation at the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting that opened in Davos, Switzerland, had a series of engagements with industry stakeholders from around the world, focusing on big investment opportunities in the state in different verticals.

During his engagements with the industry leaders from India and abroad gathered at WEF, Rajeeve pointed out that Kerala has emerged as a preferred destination for future-ready investments, powered by policy stability, digital governance, and a highly skilled workforce.

In his meeting with Malgorzata Mroczkowska-Horne, Director General of the Polish Confederation Lewiatan, Rajeeve explored the possibility of building economic cooperation between Poland and Kerala.

He said Kerala was keen to host a Polish business delegation to workout partnerships with special focus on sectors like Medical device manufacturing, IT / ITeS and digital services, biotechnology and innovation-led industries.

He highlighted Kerala’s investor-friendly policies, skilled workforce, strong infrastructure, and ease of doing business, which has positioned the State as a natural partner for European enterprises looking to expand into India.

In his discussions with Pushkar Mukewar, CEO & Co-Founder of Drip Capital, the Minister highlighted that Kerala’s export-ready SMEs is set to scale globally, leveraging innovative trade finance, strong policy support, and a structured collaboration framework.

Rajeeve invited Drip Capital to engage further, including participation in TradeX Kerala 2026.

In a meeting with Dr Shyla Talluri, Founder & Global CEO of PURE, the Minister focused on collaborations on skilling, talent development, and industry–academia partnership, the key pillars for building a globally competitive workforce.

He said Kerala was keen to partner with PURE through institutions like KIED, aligning skills with emerging industry needs.

The focus of Rajeeve’s interaction with Rajeev Sinha, Founder & CEO of SINHAS GmbH, was the state’s export-ready SMEs in spices and food processing with stronger market access, branding, and distribution across Europe and beyond.

The Minister emphasised that Kerala combines policy stability, ease of doing business, modern infrastructure, and a skilled workforce, making it an ideal base for scaling traditional sector exports into global value chains. Both sides explored structured collaboration.

Besides Rajeeve, the five-member delegation comprises Dr A Jayathilak, Chief Secretary, Govt. of Kerala; APM Mohammed Haneesh, Additional Chief Secretary (Industries & Commerce), other high-ranking officials from various other departments, and P Vishnuraj, Managing Director, Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC).
