As a part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Inter University Center for Nanomaterials and Devices (IUCND) will be organizing a mega International conference, “NANOicon-2022” from January 11 to 15 in association with Dept. of Applied Chemistry, Dept. of Physics, International School of Photonics, Dept. of Biotechnology, Dept. of Polymer Science and Rubber Technology, Dept. of Environmental Studies, Dept. of Instrumentation, and Virtual Center for Basic Sciences, the thematic area will be Nanotechnology.
The event will start with two days of pre-conference workshops on “Computational Modelling of Materials” on January 7 th and “Nature-inspired Nanoscience and Nanotechnology” on January 10. The inauguration of the mega event will commence on 11 th January 2022, 9.30 a.m. at the Seminar Complex, with the opening talk by Padma Prof. (Dr.) T. Pradeep, IIT Madras. Dr. K N Madhusoodanan, Vice Chancellor will inaugurate the function.
Eminent researchers from various countries including USA, Switzerland, Spain, Singapore, Germany, China, Ireland, Netherlands, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and France will share their scientific insights in six symposia including Advanced Nanomaterials, Synthesis and Characterization”, “Sensors and Catalysis”, “Energy Harvesting and Storage”, “Nanoscale Electronics and Photonics”, “Nanotechnology and Environment”, and “Nanotechnology in Life
