Department of Youth Welfare, Cochin University of Science and Technology will organize a national level online elocution competition on 2 nd September 2021 on the topic ‘resist or regret- taking dowry is no grace’.
The program aims to create awareness against the practice of dowry and to end atrocities against women. Cash prize of Rs. 5000, Rs. 3000, Rs. 2000 and consolation prizes for Rs. 2000 will be given respectively for first, second and third positions. Medium of speech will be in English.
