UDF candidate, Hibi Eden said that the new changed Coastal Regulation Zone rule is to promote Corporates. The candidate was campaigning in coastal regions of Vypin constituency. He added the central government is trying to veil the fact in the name of tourism and gradually displacing the fisherman community from their lands.
As part of the election campaign today Hibi Eden visited Pallipuram, Kuzhupilly, Edavanad and Nayarambalam regions. In his campaign he repeatedly stressed upon the betterment of the livelihood of the coastal community and that it will be considered as priority. He added necessary revisions will be presented in the Coastal Regulation Zone laws so that the law is beneficial to the natives. He also visited various prawns peeling sheds of the locality and listened to the grievances and assured solution.
All along the campaign the natives of respective regions were awaiting the candidate on both sides of the road to wave and greet him. On April 9th Hibi Eden will be campaigning in Puthuvype, Elamkunnapuzha, Kadamakkudy, Njarakkal and Mulavukkad regions of Vypin.
