THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
A new commercial building worth 30 crore is underway at Technopark. The ground-breaking ceremony and test piling for the 50,000 sq ft building in Phase 1 campus.
The building will have 100% DG backup, HVAC, Fire Protection, IBMS works, and Solar Power Panels.This building is entirely designed and executed directly by the Engineering Department of Technopark. The contractor for the civil works is M/s Crescent Construction Company, Trivandrum. Technopark CEO Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd.), CFO Jayanthi .L, General Manager (Projects) Madhavan Praveen, Manager (Civil) Rahul Thampi, Fire and Safety Officer Madhu Janardhanan, Assistant General Manager (Customer Relationship) Vasanth Varada, Kerala IT Parks CMO Manjit Cherian and others were present at the function held at Technopark Phase 1 yesterday morning.
Technopark CEO Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd) said that the the new building is primarily aimed towards enabling commercial establishments like restaurants, banks, and other shops in order to offer a better business environment to them. He added that looking at the demand of IT workspaces, the design is flexible to have a combination of IT workspace and commercial space too.
