GCDA will take the initiative to build more playgrounds in the greater Kochi region, said Chairman K Chandran Pillai.
A sports complex including a cricket stadium will also be built in Kochi at a cost of Rs 400 crore. He was speaking at the inauguration of the new showroom of leading sports equipment manufacturer, Yonex. Sarath Anandan, Yonex Kerala Head, was the chief guest.
Sarath Anandan said that the largest Yonex exclusive showroom in the state has started operations at Kadavanthara GCDA shopping complex. Managing Partner PV Vijayakumar presided over the event. Subha Vijayakumar, A Devraj and E Santosh spoke.
