Neymar and Oscar not in Brazil’s squad for Copa America

 

Rio De Janeiro: Barcelona star Neymar and Chelsea midfielder Oscar will not play for Brazil at the 2016 Centennial Copa America in the United States next month.

Brazil coach Dunga on Thursday named a youthful squad for the Copa America Centenario in the United States in June. The list gives preference to players who are younger.

The Catalan club had requested Brazil coach Dunga to use Neymar either at the Copa America or at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in August, and the Olympics.

The other omitted player Oscar was on the Brazilian Football Confederation’s preliminary list for the Copa America, but did not make it to the final list.
