THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
National Institute of Speech & Hearing (NISH) together with the Directorate of Social Justice is conducting the tenth online Interactive Disability Awareness Seminar (NIDAS) on August 20. The seminar, which deals with Common Voice Problems will be handled by Dr.Padmaja (Insurance Medical Officer, ESI Hospital, Peroorkkada) and Manju S (Faculty, NISH).
This online live seminar hosted at NISH will commence at their campus at 10.30 am. This will be simultaneously presented at all the District Child Protection Units (DCPU) offices for audiences present there via internet.
The two and a half -hour programme in Malayalam aims to reach out across the state to larger numbers of parents and caregivers, who are not aware of the implications of disability.
Public who wish to participate from DCPU offices in each district may contact the Child Protection Officer nearest to them and avail the telephonic registration process.
