NISH Plans Two-day Meet on Assistive Technology from Jan. 18

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
A two-day conference on Assistive Technology (AT), which aims at improving the life and rehabilitation of people with disability, will be held at the National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH) here from January 18.

The Centre for Assistive Technology and Innovation (CATI) at NISH is conducting the event in association with Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering’s (IEEE) Humanitarian Activities Committee (HAC), IEEE SIGHT (Special Instant Group on Humanitarian Technology) Kerala Section, and Kerala Development and Strategic Innovation Council (K-DISC).

The conference will bring together various stakeholders in the AT value chain, from researchers and product developers to people with disability, who are the end-users of the technology. For more details, visit: http://fatvc.nish.ac.in/.
