NISH Session on Inspiring Stories on Aug 12

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH) will conduct its fourth session on “NISH Innovations Model – Inspiring Stories” (NIM-IS) for the public on Saturday (August 12) at Marigold Auditorium on NISH campus.
The hour-long session, to be held at 9 AM, will be conducted by Padmatharani, a post graduate in Speech Language Pathology. She also runs a speech clinic called ‘Savant’ to teach children with special abilities to communicate.
Diagnosed with cerebral palsy at an early age of two and a half years old, Smt Padmatharani, never gave up in life and obtained a Masters Degree proving her capabilities in education. Smt Padma is always positive in her life, career and in achieving her personal goals. Her continuous research striving for a better India specifically for differently-abled people is an evidence of her individual social responsibility.
NISH has been conducting this periodic series of talks for the public by pioneers and innovators on success stories of people who have overcome disabilities and become role models in the society.
