NRI Remittances to India Surge Following Rupee Devaluation

 

Kuwait: A surge in the remittances by Expatriates in the Gulf countries has been reported in the wake of Rupee devaluation. The impact of Brexit referendum in the UK has resulted in a rise in the value of Gulf currencies against Indian Rupee.

NRIs in the Gulf are sending money in big amounts to gain from the differences in the exchange value of currencies.

Qatar: Rs 18.63
UAE : Rs 18.46
Saudi : Rs 18.07

Bahrain: Rs 178.45
Oman: Rs 175.73
Kuwait: Rs 223.75
