Passenger Gave ISIS Supporting Speech: Dubai-Kozhikode IndiGo Flight Makes Emergency Landing

A Dubai-Kozhikode IndiGo flight on Thursday made an emergency landing in Mumbai after a passenger gave speech in support of Islamic State.
Other passengers asked him to stop but he did not heed it and became violent, report said. He was then overpowered by other passengers. The man is suspected to be a Keralite, and is being questioned by the CISF. The flight took off at 4.25 am from Dubai airport and thirty minutes into the journey, the particular passenger stood from his seat and started speaking loudly praising ISIS and Islamic studies. It is reported that he got violent when co passengers intervened and asked him to remain seated. The passenger was handed over to the airport police around 9.15 am. The flight departed about an hour later after the passenger was offloaded, airport sources said.
