Poll Promise: ‘Food, Housing and Health for all in Kerala’

 


Thiruvananthapuram: The Congress-led United Democratic Front released its election Manifesto on Wenesday with a catchy slogan ‘Food for all, Housing for all and health for all’.

The other promises include free bicycles for eighth standard girl students and laptops at concessional rate for students in government and aided colleges, three cent land free to landless, interest free loans to farmers and subsidy for organic farming.

Apart from the poll time promises, what catches the UDF thrust on Public Private Partnership (PPP) model for development projects in the state. The PPP model will have a greater role to play in pilgrim, health, festival and medical tourism sectors.
