THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
A High power delegation of All India Provate Schools & Children’s welfare Association (PSACWA) Kerala Chapter led by its President Anu Chacko, Chairman N.Ramachandran Nair and Gen Secretary M Abdul Nazar met the Chief Minister and Education Minister of Kerala and submitted an elaborate Memorandum.
M Jouhar, Amar Moidu, Moses D Cruz, Muhammed Bangalath were part of the delegation. The delegation demanded early consideration of following issues. (1) Recognition of schools at Elementary level as per provisions of RTE and proper direction to Education Dept. (2) Early issue of NOC to the schools that have applied for the same as per Kerala HC directives. (3) Exemption of Building Tax to all private schools. (4) Reduction of Electricity Tariffs to Private Schools (5) Parity in admission in plus one in the Govt Higher Secondary schools (to the CBSE and ICSE students with State syllabus students). The delegation also held Press Conference at Trivandrum Press Club.
