THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The registration of films to be streamed on country’s first state-owned Over-the-Top (OTT) platform, ‘CSpace,’ an initiative of Kerala State Film Development Corporation (KSFDC) for the state government, will commence on June 1.
The online registration of films can be done through the link provided on KSFDC’s website www.ksfdc.in.
On May 18, Minister for Cultural Affairs Saji Cheriyan named the OTT platform as CSpace. It will offer film lovers an array of movies, short films and documentaries of their choice. The platform will be launched on November 1, coinciding with the state-formation day.
The key features of CSpace are profit sharing, transparency and hi-end technical quality. It will also showcase films with artistic value irrespective of their performance at box office, along with internationally-recognised and award-winning films, best films screened at the annual International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK), short films and documentaries.
Established in 1975, KSFDC is the first public sector corporation for film development in India.
