KOCHI:
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) national general secretary Anu Chacko said that the aim of the party now is to bring all socialists groups in Kerala by building a broader ideological and organizational coalition rather than relying only on electoral alliances.
As part of strengthening the party, some of the groups have already joined and discussions are underway with like-minded organisations and political parties. A clear socialist agenda will be framed for the purpose of strengthening the party.
Many socialist groups split when political parties appear too personality-driven or caste-limited instead of ideology-driven. Only political parties like RJD could only ensure social justice, rural welfare and youth employment, she said.
