As Chulha continues to bring you food from different regions, it’s time to experience delicacies from the land of the Marathas and Peshwas. Savour iconic dishes from different regions of Maharashtra, combining an explosion of flavors that will get your taste buds tingling at Grand Hyatt Goa from September 4 to 16.
With dishes specially curated by the expert chefs, take your palate on a journey from Kolhapur to Nagpur and everywhere in between, right here in Goa. Try out food that brings you well known masalas, vibrant flavours, delicious staples, together with mouth-watering condiments from the neighboring state that are essential to complete any Maharashtrian meal.
The festival will highlight cuisines from various part of the state, ranging from mildly spiced to fiery hot. The chefs will cook up a range of traditional Maharashtrian dishes which would include both vegetarian and delectable meats in ambrosial Konkan, Kolhapuri and Malwani preparations.
Start with the authentic Maharashtrian Saar and then dive into delicious offerings like Sabudana Vada Kaju Kothimbir Wadi, Koliwada Sungta, Kolhapuri Chicken, Rava Fried Surmai, Pithala, Kattachi Amti, Kombdi Pandhara Rassa, Mutton Tambda Rassa, and Bharleli Wangi.
If you can’t decide what to choose, try the vegetarian or non-vegetarian thalis to get a taste of the entire menu in one plate. To complement the thali, Grand Hyatt Goa also will showcase famous Maharashtrian chutneys, like Mirchi cha Thecha, Shengdaney chi Chutney, garlic chutney for you to try.
To satiate that delicious spice choose from an array of interesting Maharashtrian cocktails like the Gin Gin Zingaat, Mi Marathi and Kadak Dada Kondke, Lai Bhaari. You can also indulge in some refreshing traditional drinks like Aam Panna, Sol Kadi and Taak.
