SBI Bags Three Brandon Hall Excellence Awards for ‘Nayi Disha’

MUMBAI:
The country’s largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) has won three Brandon Hall Excellence Awards for rolling out ‘Nayi Disha’ over the course of 1.5 years touching more than 2.40 lakh employees.

SBI has won these awards in three categories viz. Best Learning Program supporting a Change Transformation Business Strategy, Best Use of Blended Learning and Best Unique or Innovative Learning and Development Program.

Commenting on the occasion, Alok Choudhary, DMD (HR) & CDO said “This honor has been bestowed upon SBI in recognition of the efforts made by the Bank in re-igniting the passion amongst its employees to excel in all spheres. Through Nayi Disha, SBI appreciated the workforce for its commitment towards customer service excellence while serving with same rigour in even the remotest corners of the country. Our belief that Nayi Disha will infuse a fresh sense of optimism amongst our valuable employees, has been proven right, and we will endeavour to engage our human capital in best possible manner at all times.”

The Brandon Hall Excellence Awards, also known as the Academy Awards of Learning & Development, recognize the best organizations that have successfully deployed programs, strategies, modalities, processes, systems, and tools to achieve measurable results.

SBI partnered with M/s Chrysalis, a leading learning solutions provider for delivering this bespoke transformation initiative while leveraging its sound cultural strengths and imbibing essential contemporary practices with an aim to equip the employees to yield intended goals and business outcomes to bring about new winds of change.

The successful rollout of this awe-inspiring corporate initiative was motivated by the SBI Chairman, Rajnish Kumar’s urge to re-align the entire workforce with organizational values. The same has been witnessed in full throttle during the current pandemic when each employee came forward to render uninterrupted service in a disruptive environment.
