Science Projects: Workshop at Cusat

A workshop intended to train various facets of preparation and execution of popular science projects of
KSCSTE to representatives of NGO’s and Govt. organisations, researchers and teachers will be conducted at Cusat on 26 th April 2017, under the auspicious of KSCSTE and Cusat Directorate of Public Relations and Publications.
Interested persons can register their names either through email: dprcusat@gmail.com or over Ph. 0484-
2577550/2862250. Persons from Ernakulam, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki districts are preferred and admissions are on first come first serve basis.

Foreign Language- Evening Courses at Cusat
The Department of English and Foreign Language, Cusat invites applications for the evening course of foreign languages for one year duration for the academic year 2017- 18. Applicants having Graduation/Plus Two/three years Diploma can apply for the courses of PG Diploma in Communicative English, Integrated Diploma in Japanies, Certificate in German, French, Italian on or before 31 st May.
Application fee is Rs. 100 (general), Rs. 50 (SC/ST). For more details Ph: 0484- 2575180/2862511, according to the Head of Department.

New Paradigms in Business: Seminar at Cusat

A National Conference to discuss the New Paradigms in Business and Management will commence at
School of Management. Dr. K. Paulose Jacob, Pro- Vice Chancellor will inaugurate at 9:30 a.m. at SMS auditorium on 20th April.

Cusat Shastrayan- a Role Model: HR Minister

Prakash Javadekar, Union Minister for Human Resources and Development congratulated the Cochin University of science and Technology for its innovative project ‘Cusat Shastrayan’ which showcases its research outputs to the people representatives and general public held on 20th January.
The minister asserted that the ‘Cusat Shastrayan project is a role model to the whole nation’ he was addressing the RUSA Nation Mission Authority meeting. Prof. Ravindranath, state minister for education
has also participated. The minister has also inaugurated seventeen digital project through video conferencing.

Cusat: Seminar to Honour Dr. M. R. Anandaraman

The Department of Physics, Cusat will organize a seminar on ‘Magnetic Research Advancements 2017’ to honour Dr. M. R. Anandaraman,
Cusat Professor and pioneer researcher in the realm of magnetism and nano materials.
Cusat Vice Chancellor Dr. J. Letha will inaugurate the seminar on 21 st April at 9 am. Pro- Vice Chancellor Dr. K. Paulose Jacob will honour Dr. M. R. Anandaraman.
