KOCHI:
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (I.Q.A.C), CUSAT in association with National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bengaluru organized a one day national seminar on ‘Ensuring Quality in Higher education: Opportunities and Challenges’ at CUSAT Seminar Complex.
Vice Chancellor Dr K.N. Madhusoodanan inaugurated the programme at a meeting which was presided over by Dr P.G. Sankaran, Pro-Vice Chancellor. Vice Chancellor observed in his inaugural address that the educational system in India should focus on transforming knowledge into benefits and quality enhancement.
He stressed the need of encouraging and appreciating the hard work to build a quality individual through dynamic and mutually beneficial student-teacher relationship. Dr. K. Gireesh Kumar, Director, I.Q.A.C, Dr S.M. Sunoj, Syndicate Member, B.S. Ponmudiraj, Dr Sangeetha K.Prathap, Assistant Professor, School of Management Studies and Arathy Ashok, Assistant Professor, spoke at the function. Around 60 faculty members from prestigious institutions across the nation participated.
