THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organized a Session on Ease of Doing Business in Kerala.
Kadakampally Surendran, Minister for Electricity & Devaswoms, while inaugurating the session mentioned that the new government’s goal is “A new Kerala, Secular, Corruption free and developed Kerala”. He further added that the government shall not encourage bribe in the state and the system and looks forward to realize their vision into reality.
The Minister further mentioned that Kerala is an extremely good place for the eco-friendly business. “Value added Manufacturing” will be given a top priority. He also mentioned that the Government of Kerala will take significant steps in order to provide better and modernized infrastructural facilities for overall economic development of the State. Government of Kerala will continue to be proactive in improving the infrastructure in the state.
C R Sasikumar, Managing Director, State Bank of Travancore mentioned in his address that the State needs to improve in various sectors which includes Skilling, Employability, High speed data connectivity etc. and to overcome these challenges there has to be a change the mindset of the people of the State.
