KOCHI:
Kovalam’s Congress MLA M Vincent who was booked after a woman attempted suicide after being allegedly sexually harassed by him should resign, said Anu Chacko State President, Rashtriya Janatha Dal.
She pointed out that atrocities against women involving politicians are increasing in the State. Congress leadership should take up the moral responsibility and demand Vincent to resign from the post.
She pointed out that the woman had allegedly attempted suicide by consuming excess amounts of sleeping pills. The audio clip of the telephonic conversation between Vincent and the complainant’s brother about settling the case amicably itself proves that the MLA was involved in the case, she added.
