Prior to assuming the office as the Executive Director of Union Bank of India, Shri Amresh Prasad was the Chief General Manager of Punjab National Bank posted at Corporate office.
He has a rich banking experience of over 32 years from branch banking, Zonal Offices to Head Office level, which includes Corporate Credit, Credit Review and Monitoring, Transaction Monitoring etc.
He is a graduate in Chemistry and Certified Associate from Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB). Shri Prasad has attended various training and Leadership Development Programs and has taken part in Leadership Development Program at SBIL Kolkata. He has also completed Aarohan 2023 FSIB Program conducted by Financial Services Institution Bureau
