Kunjali Marakkar School of Marine Engineering (KMSME) of CUSAT became the venue for a novel method of teaching today with the students, teachers and researchers of this frontline maritime institute of the country having been shared with the experiences and views by who is who of the shipping industry.
Vice Chancellor Dr. R. Sasidharan presided over the function wherein Adv. V.J. Mathew, Chairman of Kerala Maritime Board was the Chief Guest. Adv. Mathew said that the functioning of the ports in Kerala has to be changed from top to bottom. KMSME Director Prof. K.A. Simon, Surveyor-cum-DDG (Technical) C.S. Kiran, Cochin Port Chief Medical Officer Dr.K.A. Shyamini, Cap.R.V. Rajesh Nambiar, Rajesh Asher, Capt. Ravi N Mundayur and Prof.N.G. Nair spoke in detail at the function with regard to their respective fields. More than 100 persons including students, teachers and researchers participated in the programme.
