More than Thousand Participants for Huddle Kerala on First Day

As many as 1,350 delegates and 600 startups participated in the deliberations on the opening day of the two-day conclave Huddle Kerala, one of Asia’s largest startup ecosystem congregations, which began at The Leela Raviz Beach Resort, Kovalam here on Friday.
About 40 startups from outside Kerala and 12 investors turned up for the conclave on the first day. The number of mentors was 120. In the beachside huddle, there were 10 founder talks and 20 tech talks, while 150 one-on-one networking with investors and mentors were held. Besides, 50 startups pitched their products.
The conclave offers a platform for startups to showcase their products and interact with a wide range of technology and industry leaders from around the world. The event has been organised by the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) in association with Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) and IAMAI Startup Foundation.
Earlier, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the conclave in the presence of Sharjah Digital Transformation Higher Committee Chairman Sheikh Fahim Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, who was the chief guest. Startups, investors, academicians and industry leaders are attending the event with a focus on the emerging sectors like blockchain, cryptocurrency, Internet of things (IoT), gaming and e-sports, cyber security, digital entertainment, augmented reality, virtual reality, e-governance and mobile governance.
The KSUM is the nodal agency of the Kerala government for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in the State.
