KOCHI:
An exhibition football match between Thrikkakara Municipal Corporation councillors and the Calpine Masters was held ahead of the quarterfinal and semifinal matches of the third season of the Infopark Football Tournament. The matches were held at the United Sports Centre, Kakkanad.
The exhibition match was initiated by tournament’s organiser, Calpine Group, a company based in Infopark, as part of an engagement initiative with Thrikkakara Municipal Corporation councillors. Thrikkakara Municipal Corporation emerged victorious in the contest, defeating the Calpine Masters by two goals to one.
Thrikkakara councillor Shaji Vazhakkala was selected as the best player of the match. Awards were presented by Shwetha Pramod, Officer – Corporate Communications and Customer Relation, Infopark.
