TiE Kerala to Host TYE Global Summit 2026 in Kochi on June 13

TiE Kerala, in association with Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), will host the TYE (TiE Young Entrepreneurs) Global Summit 2026 at the KSUM Digital Hub, Kochi, on June 13 from 9am to 5pm, bringing together young innovators, student entrepreneurs, educators, startup founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders from across India and beyond.

The summit is expected to be one of Kerala’s largest student entrepreneurship and innovation events, featuring participation from student startup teams representing schools across India and nearly 2,000 students from different parts of Kerala, including participants from government schools.

Roji M. John, Minister for Higher Education, Government of Kerala, will inaugurate the summit. Hibi Eden, Member of Parliament, will attend as the Guest of Honour.

Among the distinguished attendees will be Anoop Ambika, Chief Executive Officer, Kerala Startup Mission; Vivek Krishna Govind, President, TiE Kerala; Vinodini Sukumar, Chair, TYE Kerala and Member, TYE Global Board; and Dr Geemon Korah, Vice President, TiE Kerala.

Designed to inspire the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs, the summit will provide students with direct exposure to entrepreneurship, startup culture, innovation, emerging technologies, and global opportunities. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with successful founders, mentors, investors, technology experts, and industry leaders.

According to Anoop Ambika, CEO, Kerala Startup Mission, the programme will feature student startup showcases, innovation exhibits, maker experiences, demonstrations in robotics, artificial intelligence and gaming, mentor clinics, founder interactions, and a technology expo. Delegates will also have the opportunity to visit premier innovation facilities such as FabLab Kerala and Maker Village.

The day-long summit will include panel discussions on Kerala’s evolving startup ecosystem, conversations on campus innovation and global entrepreneurship, and hands-on workshops covering artificial intelligence, game design, 3D printing, intellectual property for innovators, and storytelling for founders.

Over the past four years, the TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) programme has impacted more than 20,000 students across Kerala through entrepreneurship awareness initiatives, structured mentoring, innovation challenges, startup exposure, and ecosystem engagement activities, helping nurture a strong pipeline of future entrepreneurs and changemakers.

The summit will culminate in the TYE Global Finals, the international student entrepreneurship competition being hosted simultaneously in Seattle and Kochi by TiE Seattle and TiE Kerala, further reinforcing Kerala’s growing stature as a hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and youth-led transformation.
