Toonz Animation Academy Receives Centre of Excellence Recognition

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Toonz Animation Academy receives ‘Centre of Excellence’ (COE) recognition by Media and Entertainment Skills Council (MESC) set up under National Skills Development Mission by the Government of India. MESC is the highest recognized body in Animation, Visual Effects and Gaming in India. Such a prestigious recognition was awarded to Toonz after an in-detail review of the institutes Infrastructure, performance and quality assurance.
On receival of this elite recognition P. Jayakumar, CEO of Toonz Media commented that “The objective of MESC and Toonz align with each other to identify, nurture and empower the skillset of our students, imparting finest of education and training, thereby creating tailor made industry ready students”.
Mohit Soni Chief Operating Officer of MESC congratulated & mentioned that “MESC has conferred this COE Title to Toonz Animation Academy in recognition of Toonz outstanding contribution and dedication in helping learners to progress in their lives, consistent high standards of training and their support extended in Skill India Mission” . He added, “with the increasing demand for exceptionally skilled individuals in Media and Entertainment, Toonz Academy with COE certification will be able to create a prime category of skilled workforce in the industry”.

The elite recognition from MESC has opened doors for international collaboration with Universities, Studios and Governments for a consistent Skill and Technology transfer.
