TRANSMEDCON 2018 to Start on Thursday at Grand Hyatt

KOCHI:
TRANSMEDCON 2018, Seventh National conference of Indian Society of Transfusion Medicine, will be held at Hotel Grand Hyatt , Bolgatty, from November 23 to 25. Transfusion Medicine is the branch of medical science dealing with the blood related diseases and treatments like blood donation, collection of blood cells and stem cells.

The seventh national conference aim to coordinate the services of all the branches for the betterment of patients. Prior to the conference , an international workshop is organized today ( 22.11.2018 – Thursday ) at Amrita Institute of Medical Science which will be lead by national and international delegates.

Dr. M K C Nair , VC, Kerala University of Health Science , will inaugurate the conference tomorrow (23.11.2018 – Friday ) evening. Dr. Susheela Inna, Jubilee Mission Hospital , Thrissur, Dr.Veena Shenoy , Amrita Hospital, Kochi and Dr. Mohandas Murugeshan , Malabar Cancer Centre will lead the conference.
