UGC-BSR Fellowship for Cusat Faculty

Dr. M.R. Anantharaman, Director, Inter University Centre for Nano Materials and Devices, Cusat has been selected for the prestigious UGC–BSR Faculty fellowship of UGC. The BSR Faculty Fellowship Program, provides financial assistance to talented teachers, likely to superannuate within a year that are acknowledgedcusat2
experts in their field of mentorship role for young researchers and Ph.D students.
The selection is based on the Ph.D dissertations in basic sciences or engineering and technology which he or she supervised and their cumulative impact factor. The scheme is applicable to teachers at the level of Readers/ Associate Professors/ Professors in the Science and Technology departments of the universities.
The financial assistance provided under the scheme is Rs.50, 000 per month and a research grant of
Rs 5, 00,000.
Dr. M.R. Anantharaman is an academician with thirty years of experience in research and development in material science/solid state physics/polymer physics/ carbon black i
ndustry including doctoral research. He has Published over 105 papers in reputed national and international journals and over 70 presentations in
seminars/symposium besides teaching postgraduate students, guiding doctoral candidates for over 25 years.
