BENGALURU:
Ultraviolette has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first Indian production motorcycle manufacturer to complete the legendary Isle of Man TT Mountain Circuit, one of the world’s most demanding and iconic motorcycle courses.
· On 6 June 2026, multiple Ultraviolette F77 MACH 2 motorcycles successfully completed a lap of the famed 37.72-mile (60.72 km) Mountain Course, ridden by James Hillier – former Isle of Man TT Winner, Ranvijay Singha – motorcycle enthusiast and actor and Abhishek Vasudev – multiple-time national champion. The achievement has been officially recognized by both the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records.
The achievement marks a defining moment not only for Ultraviolette but also for India’s rapidly advancing electric vehicle ecosystem. By successfully completing one of motorcycling’s most revered racing circuits in the world, the F77 has demonstrated the maturity and performance potential of Indian-engineered electric motorcycles on the global stage.
Speaking on the announcement, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-founder, Ultraviolette, said, “Completing a lap of the Isle of Man TT Mountain Course with the F77s is a significant milestone for Ultraviolette and a proud moment for Indian design and engineering. It demonstrates how far electric motorcycle technology has evolved and reinforces our belief that high-performance electric mobility can compete on the world’s most demanding stages”.
Narayan added, “For decades, the Isle of Man TT has been where motorcycle technology is tested, proven, and celebrated. The TT Zero class was ahead of its time and showed the world that electric motorcycles could be more than an alternative; that they could be genuinely exciting, competitive and capable. Today, electric motorcycles have reached an entirely new level of capability, and we would love to see electric racing return to the Isle of Man TT and continue driving the next chapter of motorcycle innovation.”
The accomplishment marks another significant chapter in Ultraviolette’s journey to push the boundaries of electric mobility and establish India as a global leader in next-generation mobility solutions.
