KOCHI:
PURE 8, a unisex salon brand from Mumbai, has officially announced its expansion into the Kerala market. The brand, which operates on the FOCO (Franchise Owned, Company Operated) model, launched its Master Franchise on Thursday during Techcon26, an event organised by Techfed Kerala in association with Kerala startup Mission at Kochi Infopark, Kakkanad.
PK Kunhalikkutty, Kerala Minister for Industries and Information Technology, with Abdul Gafoor, Minister for Fisheries, together announced the launch. The ministers lauded PURE 8’s business model and its potential to create entrepreneurship opportunities in the state.
By bringing the FOCO model to Kerala, PURE 8 aims to offer a seamless investment opportunity for local entrepreneurs, combining premium grooming standards with professional corporate management, a spokesperson for the franchise said. PURE 8 Unisex Salon plans to establish 200 outlets across the country within the next two years.
This experience led to the creation of PURE 8 as a new and independent salon brand, the spokesperson said. It offers a broad range of professional salon services for women and men. The service portfolio includes hair, beauty, grooming, care treatments and special-occasion services.
PURE 8 is also developing signature combo packages that combine selected services into convenient and value-focused experiences. The final service menu and packages may vary according to location and customer requirements, the spokesperson added.
