THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The Centre for Innovation in Science and Social Action (CISSA), and the Energy Management Centre (EMC) Kerala, in association with the Venganoor Panchayat Organic farmers Council, will organise an energy conservation awareness programme on March 4 Sunday. The programme being held as part of Urjakiran 2017-18 will get underway at 3 PM at the NNS Karayogam Hall at Muttacaud.
Venganoor Grama Panchayat President Sreekala G S will inaugurate the awareness programme at a function to be presided over by Ajith Venniyoor, CISSA Vice President and Panchayat Organic Farmers Council. Dr R Harikumar, Director, ANERT; and B V Suresh Babu, Certified Energy Auditor, Bureau of Energy Efficiencies; will present the energy conservation awareness topics.
Venganoor Sathish, Vice President, Venganoor Grama Panchayat; Sheela Bhadran and Leelabhai, Block Panchayat Members; G Sadanandan, State Organiser, Gandhi Smarak Nidhi; A K Soman, Secretary, Panchayat Organic Farmers Council; R S Sreekumar, Member Venganoor Grama Panchayat and Panchayat Organic Farmers Council Vice President; and S Sushama, Convenor, Panchayat Organic Farmers Council; would be among those who would be present.
