Education should be based on values and culture, and students must grow and learn in a disciplined environment in campuses, E Sreedharan, National President of Foundation for Restoration of National Values (FRNV), has said.
Addressing the FRNV meeting organised at ASHA Care Homes, Thycaud, on Tuesday, the Metro Man said that a child’s change and transformation starts from school and hence there should be strong move
“Since children are the future citizens of the country, they should be taught to respect our country and constitution,” said Shri Sreedharan.
At the meeting, he also evaluated the ‘My City Project’ – a CSR initiative of HLL on integrated solid waste management in Kowdiar. FRNV joined hands with HLL in 2013 for promoting the project. Senior officials of HLL and Kerala Charter Director Dr Ayyappan were also present at the meeting.
Sreedharan expressed his appreciation of the ‘My City’ project and said it can be replicated in other areas.
The FRNV is an organisation for setting social values, ethics and responsible living through continuous value education.
