VIT Bhopal Powers Global Academic Exchange with 70+ Universities

VIT Bhopal University successfully organized the Third International Higher Education Fair 2026, bringing together over 70 prestigious universities and organizations from across the globe. The event served as a dynamic platform for fostering international academic collaborations and providing students and parents with direct access to global higher education opportunities.

The fair witnessed participation from leading institutions representing countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Japan, and several European nations. The inaugural session was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including Anna Rogovskaya, Deputy to the Business Ambassador of Russia to India, as the Chief Guest. The Chief Guest was felicitated, and the fair was formally inaugurated by Ramani Balasundaram, Trustee, VIT Bhopal University.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Anna Rogovskaya said, “Internationalization is no longer an option but a necessity in today’s interconnected world. Platforms like the International Higher Education Fair at VIT Bhopal play a vital role in bringing institutions together, fostering meaningful academic partnerships, and creating global opportunities for students. Such initiatives reflect a forward-looking vision in preparing future-ready graduates.”

The event was organized with the continued support and guidance of the Chancellor, Dr. G. Viswanathan, reflecting the institution’s strong commitment to global engagement. The occasion was further graced by the presence of Kadhambari S. Viswanathan (Assistant Vice President) and Dr. Sankar Viswanathan, Vice President, VIT. The inaugural session featured addresses by Prof. Satish Kumar Modh (Vice Chancellor) and Prof. T. B. Sridharan (Pro Vice Chancellor), in the presence of K. K. Nair (Registrar), VIT Bhopal University.

With global participation, the Fair provided an engaging platform for students, parents, faculty members, and academic administrators to interact directly with representatives from globally renowned institutions. Participants explored a wide range of opportunities including undergraduate and postgraduate admissions, scholarships, student mobility programs, research collaborations, and international career pathways. The event also facilitated meaningful discussions on global academic trends, enabling participants to make informed decisions about their educational journeys.

Some of the participating institutions include National University of Singapore, University of Sydney, Australia; Monash University, Australia; University of Edinburgh, Scotland; University of Tokyo, Japan; Arizona State University, USA; and Cranfield University, UK, among others.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. T. B. Sridharan, highlighted that such initiatives reflect VIT Bhopal’s commitment to fostering global exposure and building strong international partnerships that benefit students and faculty alike. The event further reinforced VIT Bhopal University’s vision of nurturing globally competent graduates through internationalization and academic excellence. By bringing together diverse institutions and stakeholders, the fair created avenues for long-term collaborations, student exchange programs, and joint research initiatives.
