Young Bharat is Using the Lockdown to study Snapdeal On-boards e-learning

GURUGRAM:
Snapdeal, India’s leading value-focused ecommerce platform, has partnered with top e-learning platforms to help Bharat study from home amid lockdown.

Toppr, Toppers Exam, Gradeup, Olympiad Helper, Practice Guru, and Educba are among the leading players who signed up on Snapdeal. These e-learning firms are providing e-books, mock tests, practice materials, and other online products for general academics, competitive tests and upskilling courses.

With this, Snapdeal has study material of 20 school boards including ICSE, CBSE, and IB for classes 5-12 covering more than 100 subjects. Maths and science material is the most popular among these. Competitive exam test prep material for engineering, medical and commerce is also available. JEE Main, NEET, CA, NDA, and CS study material are a hit on Snapdeal. State police constable exam mock tests are also picked widely across the country.

Courses in python, data structures, and SQL are well liked. Consumer behaviour, social media marketing, customer analytics, equity research, and logistics management courses are also being tried by Snapdeal shoppers. During the lockdown, Snapdeal has seen a significant increase in the orders for books for various competitive exams & general academics. However, given the lockdown restrictions, delivery of these books has been slow. In view of this and looking at the growing demand for digital learning, Snapdeal has added multiple e-learning products on the platform.

“ Because of the disruption in the academic schedules at the school level and for those preparing for competitive exams, there is increased parental & student driven demand for supplementary learning solutions. The e-learning solutions offered on Snapdeal will enhance the overall learning experience of students in all parts of India by helping them study from the comfort of their home via digital technologies,” said Snapdeal spokesperson.

The study material is available in eight languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam, and Bengali to cater to the needs of diverse Indian audiences. There is a German language learning course too.

Snapdeal specialises in serving value products to the non metro audiences. The price range of e-learning products on the platform starts at Rs 150. To get access to the study material, Snapdeal shoppers can make the payment and insert contact details (mobile number) and email id. All material is emailed to the shopper.
