JAIPUR:
Rajasthan recorded 557 fresh COVID-19 cases on Saturday, taking the state’s tally to 34,735, while six more fatalities pushed the toll to 608, according to an official report.
Ajmer and Kota districts reported three deaths each, the report stated. Of the fresh cases, Alwar reported the maximum at 313.
Kota reported 80 new cases, Jaipur 58, Ajmer 41, Barmer 20, Udaipur 10, Bundi nine, Bhilwara seven, Banswara and Jhunjhunu five each, Hanumangarh four, Dungarpur three and Dausa two. According to the report, 24,657 COVID-19 patients have so far recovered and there are 9,470 active cases in the state.
