KOCHI:
Department of Physics, CUSAT and Inter University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune, are jointly organizing the 5th Regional Astronomy meeting “Astronomy Research: Opportunities and Challenges” on 8th and 9th February at the department.
Around 30 research students from various South Indian Universities and Institutes will participate in the programme. Eminent academicians and researchers from various research and educational institutions will lead classes on subjects like Gravitation and Cosmology, Infrared, Optical and X- ray, Stars and ISM, Solar system etc. in the two day programme.
