Started in 1996, the K P Hormis Commemorative Lecture; is an annual Lecture series organized by Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation, the special purpose vehicle for the CSR initiatives of Federal Bank, to perpetuate the memory and ethos of the bank’s illustrious founder. The eminent personalities, who delivered lectures as part of the series over the years, include P. Chidambaram, S. Venkitaraman, M. M. Jacob, Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Dr. V. Kurien, N. R. Narayana Murthy, Arun Jaitley, V. Leeladhar, M. Damodaran, Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Dr. G. Madhavan Nair, Dr. C. Rangarajan, Dr. Arun Shourie and Dr Reghuram Rajan.
