Aster Medcity, in Association with the Ernakulam Press Club, Launches ‘Heart Beats’

Aster Medcity, as part of the Heart Day Celebrations announces the launch of ‘Heart Beats’ initiative in association with Ernakulam Press Club.

Through this initiative Aster Medcity aims to provide 100 free paediatric cardiac surgeries for underprivileged children bringing hope and healing to those who need it the most. Out of the 100 paediatric cardiac surgeries, five will be fully supported by Joy Alukkas, emphasizing the dedication to the betterment of children’s lives.

Along with this Aster DM Foundation, introduces ‘Heart 2 Heart’ campaign with aster volunteers aiming to encourage people across GCC and India to get active for a healthier heart while simultaneously making a meaningful impact on the lives of children through ‘Heart Beats’ Initiative. Minister P. Rajeev launched the initiatives at Ernakulam press club. Along with this, Uma Thomas MLA announced the Special heart check up package for media persons.

“This initiative not only encourages us to take care of our own health but also extends that care to those who require life-saving medical interventions. I would like to wholeheartedly congratulate Aster Medcity and the Ernakulam Press Club for launching this inspiring campaign “said P Rajeev, about the groundbreaking initiative.

Through this campaign, individuals can make a difference by simply staying active. For every person who completes 10,000 steps, a 10-kilometer cycle ride, or one hour of exercise, Aster DM Healthcare will donate 100 rupees to Aster DM Foundation for the cause dedicating to supporting paediatric cardiac surgeries for underprivileged children.

Interested individuals can become volunteers and pre-register on the official website, astervolunteers.com. They are encouraged to track their daily activity counts on their gadgets or smartphones and share their progress through screenshots on timetrack.astervolunteers.com. By doing so, they are contributing INR 100 per day towards the Aster DM Foundation’s mission to provide life-saving cardiac surgeries to underprivileged children in India.

The ‘Heart to Heart’ Campaign is open for participation until October 29th, providing individuals ample time to get involved and contribute to this life-changing cause.
