Boxing Academies will be started in Kerala by WBC CARE India Region

KOCHI:
World Boxing Council International promotor and Brand Ambassador UAE Dunstan Paul Rozario informed that the charity wing of WBC will start boxing academies in the state under the leadership of WBC CARE India Region.

He said that the project will be implemented in collaboration with Title Boxing Club, Kochi. Around 200 boxing clubs will be started in Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Kochi and Kozhikode districts.

WBC Care will also raise funds through a charity boxing event held in Melbourne, Australia in November, 2023. Olympian Manoj Kumar, WIBA World champion Urvashi Singh, Kochi Title Boxing Club MD K.S. Vinod and others will participate. The first match in Melbourne will be between Manoj Kumar and K.S. Vinod.

Former Australian Minister and MP Jason Wood, WBC CARE India Ambassador Roshan Nadaniel, Hibi Eden MP, Senior Standing Consul Adv. K.V. Sabu and others participated.
