Coir Board on the Drive to Develop Domestic Market

KOCHI:
As part of the Coir Board’s efforts to explore the possibilities of increasing the utilisation of Coir products in various sectors in the country C. P. Radhakrishnan, Ex. M. P, Chairman, Coir Board met Ministers like Santosh Gangwar, Labour Ministers, Govt. of India, . Amar Agrawal, Ministers for Industries, Urban Development & Commercial Taxes, Govt. of Chhattisgarh and also officials like Anup Wadhawan, Commerce Secretary, Govt. of India, Prakash Sharma, CEO, National Skill Development Corporation.
Chairman had detailed discussions with Ministers and Officials on the use of Coir products in all organisations under their jurisdiction. Rigorous activities are undertaken by the Board to develop the domestic market for Coir and Coir products.
