THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
As part of the Prime Minister’s TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan which aims at helping TB patients across the country by providing timely treatment and curing the disease, KIMSHEALTH launched the Ni-Kshay Mitra Tuberculosis Prevention Programme. The programme organized by KIMSHEALTH CSR in association with National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP), State TB Cell, and DTC at the Trivandrum Collectorate was inaugurated by Geromic George, District Collector. The district collector was handed over a nutrition kit as part of the launch of the programme.
As a part of the social responsibility programme, 150 TB patients in the Trivandrum district will be assessed by KIMSHEALTH with the help of NTEP as a first step. Reshmi Aysha, CEO, Cancer Centre & CSR, KIMSHEALTH, Dr. Ajay Ravi, Consultant, Respiratory Medicine, KIMSHEALTH, Aisha Mubarak, Infection Control, KIMSHEALTH, and Dr. Valsala, District TB Officer participated in the event.
