Credai Kerala State Conference Concludes

Rapid development in the basic infrastructure is required to contain the ever increasing demand for new real estate developments in tier II cities, urged the CREDAI State Conference in Kochi.

Exceptional opportunities await Kerala and we shall adapt novel methods in promotion and marketing of new projects, speakers said. In this post pandemic era, IT industries experience an unprecedented surge in business which requires more space and thus will help boost the construction industry. It also created demand for new developments in small towns as the new trend of near home work spaces escalated which demands ease of connectivity, road network and places for entertainment. The two day conference reiterated that the State needs to leverage its key resources to make plans to develop Kerala as tier IIdestination for large corporations.

The possibilities and opportunities available in our State along with technical and technological advantages need to be shaped in an industry friendly
condition, the conference reiterated. The challenges and scope of building high rise properties was deliberated during the conference. The authorities
should frame necessary laws and reforms to accommodate the need for such developments.

The builders should adapt to latest trends by incorporating unconventional designs, artificial intelligence, internet of things and build human friendly work
spaces taking into consideration their new life styles. The valedictory session had Gautam Saraf, MD, Mumbai and New Business as Moderator. Shahim
Baker, CEO, Baker & Grey; Naseera Razak, Studio Director, Gensler and Manoj Khandelwal, Co-Founder and CEO, Workshaala Spaces as Panelists.

More than 30 professionals did discourse at great length on various segments. Conference Chairman Dr. Najeeb Zackeria concluded the conference with a note on the panel discussions and recommendations. Ravi Jacob, CREDAI Kerala Chairman and Adv Cherian John, Secretary General were also present.
